A. Definition of Quantities

Two quantities in our daily life are Physical quantities and Not Physical Quantities. Physical quantities are quantities that can be measured. For examples: length, width, high, mass, time, weight, etc. Not Physical quantities are quantities that can not be measured. For examples: happy, beautiful, enjoy, etc.

Kinds of physical quantities:

1. Fundamental Quantities, are quantities that get from measurement

a. Length

b. Mass

c. Time

d. Temperature

e. Electric Current

f.  Amount of Substance

g. Luminous Intencity

2. Derived Quantities, are quantities that get from fundamental quantities

Examples: Area, Volume, density, etc
